Lockdown had been boring and honestly, traumatizing for most of us. We have so much work but yet, it is boring. Some people who were in the habit of an adventurous life before the pandemic, feel sick now. And for those, who cannot tolerate the fact of wasting time and are not able to manage it because of Covid-19, this article is definitely for you. Well, it’s better to always try to make yourself feel good. Let me and you, give it a try.

It’s not knowing what to do, it’s doing what you know.

Everything I’m about to share with you now, are well-researched and scientifically proven facts that can improve your productivity levels 10 times. And when I say this, I am not telling you to make big lifestyle changes for it. I can understand the fact of being mentally-exhausted and still want to work hard. So, I am sharing these little tips which are of course proven to be effective, and can help you a lot.

Number 1.

Focus on One thing at a time and avoid Multi-tasking.

You possibly might think of me as stupid at this point for the fact that Multi-tasking is to increase productivity rather than effecting it. You’re right. But here’s the big picture. Productivity is not about just doing a lot of work in a day. It is about completing your daily tasks and targets with minimum possible time, so that you can save some extra time for yourself or maybe some other work.

Multi-tasking undoubtedly will let you do, plenty of work. But at the same time, it will reduce your focus, lower your creativity and efficiency levels and will impact your work rate and also, output. Multi-tasking, in the end will waste your time to a great extent and eventually, make your day less productive.

SOLUTION. Try giving a complete attentiveness to a particular task at a time. This will help your mind to dedicate the entire time you spend, to a particular work or project with clear, sharp and well-focused concentration. Eventually, increasing your productivity levels with minimizing time-wastage.
ONE THING AT A TIME SHOULD BE THE MOTTO.

Track your time for everything you do and Try to Minimize it everyday.

Time-tracking is one of the most effective and most important quality of any successful person. People who think of their time as money and can not afford to waste it, win the game in the end. Productivity was never about money. It was always about the time-management that would eventually make you successful and productive.

Time is something which if wasted, would never come back to you the same. Money can. People can, but Time? Cannot. EVER.

SOLUTION. There are plenty of apps available online that can help you track your time for your daily regular activities as well as analyze your efficiency levels during work. This will help you to save a lot of time and boost your performance levels.
TIME WAS NEVER THE MAIN THING. IT IS THE ONLY THING.

Make a Planner or a To-do-list for the Next day coming.

Remember when we all were in school, there was a fixed time-table for each period everyday. It was a routine to study all the subjects everyday. Can you do it now? Can you spend 6 hours of a day at a single chair working on your daily targets everyday? If you can, you’re probably a genius but If you cannot, you are at a place where I was, few weeks back. So let me help you with this.

Making a To-do-list for all the activities and work before sleeping at night, for the next day, can boost your efficiency level 10 times. Believe me, few weeks back I read some article about time management and thought of giving a try to some of the tips, and started the habit of scheduling things for the next day before sleeping every night. Trust me, It has made my days fruitful and has further boosted my morale.

Also, don’t ever think that getting into a routine will make you feel stuck and packed. and you will loose your freedom. NO. Think the other way around.
Getting into a routine will make your brain ready for a certain task and time manageable for the work everyday. This way, you can reduce stress and save your energy on deciding what to do and what not.

SOLUTION. Start Scheduling your next day before sleeping every night. You can do this in your diary or maybe, can use an app. I personally prefer a diary for all of my work. This helps me feel more concentrated and fruitful. Manage your most important work within the first 3 hours in the morning and plan all the other work accordingly. Also, with fixed time and fixed hours. Try minimizing it everyday.
SCHEDULING PROTECTS YOU FROM CHAOS AND WHIM.

Also, separate yourself from social media and save plenty of time that could do good for you, rather than just watching stories of people, you don’t even care about.
